MOP Environmental Solutions to Establish Operations in Saudi Arabia

BATH, NH, March 17, 2011 (MARKET WIRE) – MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. (MOPN.PK), announced today the signing of a preliminary agreement, as excerpted: “for the purpose of establishing a division of MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. in Saudi Arabia to facilitate distribution, and/or production, and/or research, and/or development, and/or manufacturing of MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc., products and environmentally sound oil spill cleanup methods and/or contaminated land and water remediation methods in the Middle Eastern region.”

As stated by MOP Environmental CEO Charles Diamond: “We have entered a 90 day period of negotiations within which to conclude the terms of a Joint Venture for MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc., to establish a working presence in Saudi Arabia. The mutually agreed upon name is MOP Environmental Solutions of Saudi Arabia (“MOPN-SA”). During the negotiation period of this joint venture, the Saudi Arabian contingent, at their request, wishes to maintain their anonymity, and will be referred to as (“Team SA.”)”

Diamond continued: “With the signing of the agreement with Team SA, our focus is on the completion of a MOP Saudi Arabia Executive Plan of Action to service all the possible applications, markets and industries throughout Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the Middle Eastern Region. Team SA has a respected and established relationship with Saudi Aramco and is also respected in the field of oil spill response throughout Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Turkey, and the entire Middle Eastern Region. Prior to the signing of an agreement with Team SA, it was under consideration to work through a large Saudi Arabian corporation for the distribution of our products throughout the Middle Eastern region. The establishing of a working presence within Saudi Arabia offers many competitive and cost advantages over the prior consideration of a presence in Saudi Arabia exclusively through a distributor.”

Diamond concluded: “We are very pleased with the progress we are making within Saudi Arabia. This agreement is an important step toward establishing a strategically important international presence within the largest oil producing region of the world.”

By responding very quickly the company, with sub-distributor Incinerox was able to effectively minimize the expansion of the spill by using MOP 201 and MOP booms.

After 1 Hour

After only 1 hour MOP remediated a section of the canal completely (above left), preventing further expansion of the spill. This same task required 2-5 days using peat and sphagnum sorbents.

"This is a benefit to the Company and its shareholders since shareholders can now see detailed information on the financial results of the Company’s operations and disclosures relating to its financial policies. Hence, existing and new investors can judge and measure the progress of their investment with greater transparency” said Charles Diamond, Chairman & CEO of MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. This new Tier should open the door for more broker dealers and larger brokerages to further expand trading in the Company's common stock.

Highlights from the Company’s Disclosures

Highlights from the postings include the Company’s CEO’s recent filings for International and Domestic patents on its RESCUE (Rapid Environmental Soil Cleanup Equipment) process for recovering oil from oil contaminated soil. As a result of these filing, an Intellectual Property License, Royalty and Option Agreement was signed between the Company and the CEO which provided an exclusive license to the Company to utilize the CEO’s Technology worldwide until December 31, 2030 and an option for either party to transfer some or all of the Technology at 90% of Market Value, to be determined by an independent appraisal.

The Company also stated it “continues to develop opportunities beyond manufacturing and distribution towards a comprehensive provider of oil spill remediation materials and services. In the 3rd Quarter 2010, the Company entered an agreement with Homeland Environmental Logistical Partners, Ltd., to carry each others’ products and to collaborate on ventures and spill response. In addition, the Company developed competitively priced and environmentally sustainable oil tanker spill kits for compliance with United States federal regulations found at 33 CFR §155. The product line was also expanded to include warehouse spill kits, school spill kits and mobile spill response kits. Additional advancements for the MOP technologies and processes, include MOP RESCUE (Rapid Environmental Soil Clean Up Equipment) and related MOP patent work on an ongoing basis. …

While actively engaged in various aspects of the Gulf Oil Spill, the Company presented “The Case for “MOP Maximum Oil Pickup” as the best option, FIRST RESPONSE” for oil spills in testimony to the United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship for Gulf Coast Oil Cleanup.”

One current opportunity is Ecuador, where 18 billion gallons of liquid hydrocarbon contaminated land is now in need of remediation and is one of that country’s highest priorities. The photos included below show how the second cargo-container load of MOP, shipped in January, 2011, is already being used there. Discussions are underway with MOP’s Ecuador distributor, APDProyectos , who wishes to expand operations through the use of MOP Cannons and the new MOP RESCUE system to clean more and larger areas more quickly. To underscore the extent of the problem there, on February 14, 2011 a judgment was handed down by a judge in Lago Agrio, a provincial capital near the Colombian border, which ordered Chevron to pay $8.6 billion and an equal amount in punitive damages, according to the ruling obtained and reported by Bloomberg. The judgment stemmed from an 18-year-old lawsuit that alleged Texaco Inc. dumped chemical-laden wastewater in the Amazon River basin from 1964 to 1992.
